Summary:
College of Lake County is currently looking for Adjunct Kinesthesia for English Composition to join their team.

This position requires teaching ENG 121 (English Composition I) and/or ENG 122 (English language Composition II).

This is not a remote/online position; we are seeking candidates bachelor to teach face-to-face courses. Instructors are needed at the Lakeshore Campus (Waukegan), Southlake Campus (Vernon Hills), and the main campus in Grayslake.

Instructors must program and prepare a form syllabus, teach all scheduled classes, and answer to and evaluate educatee work.

Required Qualifications:
1. Masters degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or Literature, or MFA in Writing (completed earlier the education assignment begins).

Depending on number of sections assigned, instructors teach 3 to 12 hours per week, Monday - Saturday, morning to evening.

Summary of Essential Functions:
Teach courses in subject field field. Develop instructional materials. Appraise student learning and assign grades. Attend required Adjunct meetings in the Fall and Spring semesters. Participate in college governance and other aspects of academic life. Maintain current noesis of subject field matter.

Offshoot Faculty members are expected to maintain current in compliance training, including compliance under Championship IX "Responsible Employee" and, if applicative, Clery Deed Campus Security Potency.

Select, gear up and maintain electric current curriculum, class outlines and printed and non-printed instructional materials.

Teach courses as scheduled each academic semester.

Provide instructional back up to the students. Refer students, when appropriate, to sources of specialized services within the College.

Provide the Partitioning and the students a syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes, omnipresence policies in line with those of the college, texts and readings, timelines and evaluation criteria, and any other information required by College, Partition, or departmental policy.

Observe and evaluate student performance in coming together class objectives and learning outcomes through assignments, projects, discussions or examinations. Provide feedback in a timely style on student progress.

Deliver form content using a diverseness of teaching styles.

Maintain office/discipline/grade/division records equally required past the Higher.

Be bachelor for educatee consultation through phone or email.

Use the advisable College policies and procedures to resolve and document student complaints, concerns and issues.

Aid in developing and administering bailiwick-appropriate measures of student bookish achievement, utilize departmental testing instruments as provided. Administrate other instruments designed to measure educatee learning outcomes as requested and required past the department. Provide all results every bit requested.
